CONSTRUCTION
Michèle is worked seamlessly top down.
The yoke is worked first, placing the two motif panels on both half-fronts, while creating a slight dip on the front, and working the back in stockinette stitch. The raglan increases are worked at the same time.
The sleeves are then put on hold to work the body straight, while continuing the two front panels.
The button band is worked at the same time as the body in 1×1 rib.
The body is finished with a garter stitch border.
The sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch in the round, finished with a small repeat of the front panel and a garter border.
The cardigan is finished by picking up stitches at the neckline to work a garter band and adding an extra buttonhole.
